DC Inverter Internal (Water Cooled) Condenser Air Conditioning Case Study
Cool You have installed air conditioning within five apartments to date at Altura Tower, a stylish riverside apartment building in Battersea near Central London.
Common to many contemporary apartment buildings, there is a large area of glass at Altura Tower that generates heat. The owners were not allowed to fit traditional external condenser boxes, nor were they allowed to drill any holes in the external walls of the building. To air condition these apartments, the best solution was DC inverter water cooled internal condenser air conditioning system. These systems are totally contained within the apartments and connected into the apartments’ services.
The internal condensers were installed in the apartments’ hall utility cupboards. Quiet high wall units were fitted in the kitchen/living areas and master bedrooms of the apartments. With these apartments, the utility cupboards are situated close to the rooms being air conditioned and we were able to run the pipework through the ceiling void allowing the pipework to be hidden.
No planning permission was required to fit our air conditioning systems in these apartments.
For these projects we installed:
2 x 3.5kw (12,000 Btu) DC Inverter Internal Water Condensing Units
2 x 3.5kw (12,000 Btu) High Wall Air Conditioning Units
