A CASE STUDY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF AN INTERNAL DC INVERTER WATER COOLED CONDENSER WITHIN A MODERN APARTMENT DEVELOPMENT OVERLOOKING THE RIVER THAMES
Cool You have installed air conditioning within Kingfisher House, a new apartment building, set within Battersea Reach, an exclusive waterside community located on the south side of Wandsworth Bridge with easy access to Fulham.
Like many new apartment buildings, this property has a large glass area and gets very hot. The owner was not allowed to fit a traditional external condenser box. Nor were they allowed to drill any holes in the external walls of the building.
The most appropriate solution available was our internal condenser air conditioning system. This type of air conditioning allows everything to be retained within the apartment.
As part of the installation, a triple water-cooled internal condenser was installed beside the washing machine in the utility area. Quiet and energy efficient DC inverter high wall units were fitted in the master bedroom, the living room and kitchen/dining room.
Our engineers were able to connect the refrigerant pipework between the condenser and the room units using the ceiling void, with minimal disruption to the existing decor.
No planning permission was required to fit our air conditioning systems in this apartment.
For this project we installed:
1 x 7.1kw water cooled Triple DC Inverter condenser
Kitchen /Dining Room 1 x 3.5kw (12,000 Btu) DC Inverter cooling high wall unit.
Living Room 1 x 3.5kw (12,000 Btu) DC Inverter cooling high wall unit.
Master Bedroom 1 x 3.5kw (12,000 Btu) DC Inverter cooling high wall unit.
