A CASE STUDY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF INTERNAL DC INVERTER WATER COOLED CONDENSERS TO AIR CONDITION A MODERN APARTMENT
This apartment is situated on the doorstep of Golders Hill Park and Hampstead Heath, just off the Finchley Road. Like many modern apartments, it is exceptionally well insulated and gets very warm. The owners wanted air conditioning, but due to restrictions, they were not allowed to fit a traditional external condenser box or drill any holes in the external walls of the building.
The best solution available to air condition this new two bedroomed apartment was our internal condenser air conditioning system that allowed everything to be retained within the apartment.
For this installation, two water-cooled condensers were installed in the storage cupboard, near a water softener, to supply energy efficient, quiet, DC inverter high wall units in the open plan kitchen/living room area and the master bedroom.
Our technical team were able to connect the refrigerant pipework between the condensers and the room units using the apartment’s ceiling void, enabling all the pipework to be concealed. Throughout the installation, there was minimal disruption to the existing decoration.
No planning permission was required to fit our air conditioning systems in these apartments.
For this projects we installed:
2 x 3.5kw (12,000 Btu) DC Inverter water cooled condensers
Master Bedroom 1 x 3.5kw (12,000 Btu) DC Inverter cooling high wall unit
Kitchen / Living Room 1 x 3.5kw (12,000 Btu) DC Inverter cooling high wall unit
