    Addressing High Temperatures

    Like most apartments we deal with in London, High Banks boasts excellent insulation and large panoramic windows. However, this leads to significant internal heat build-up during spring and summer. Residents often find temperatures excessive during these seasons, so they seek air conditioning to cool and dehumidify their living spaces.

    Restrictions and Solutions

    Due to restrictions, residents cannot install outside condensers, even if they possess balconies or terraces. Thankfully, our energy-efficient water-cooled internal condenser air conditioning system offers a solution. This system allows us to keep everything contained within the apartments.

    Efficient Installations

    We completed both installations in just one day. We installed an internal condenser in each apartment in the boiler or utility room. This setup served silent, energy-efficient DC inverter units to cool the open-plan kitchen and living area.

    Seamless Integration

    Our skilled technical team managed the refrigerant pipework discreetly. In one apartment, the room unit was on an adjoining wall. In the other, the pipework ran through the ceiling void. Importantly, there was no disruption to the existing decor in either space.

For Cool You, this was a unique opportunity to showcase our adaptability in a non-typical location. Explaining, Savva said, "Cool You do not generally install outside of Greater London, but because many owners combined and committed to the Cool You promise of 100% being able to air condition completely internally, their apartments, and they also committed to our price point for supply and install, we have now completed the air conditioning of two apartments". Like many of our core London customers' apartments, High Banks is incredibly well insulated, with large panoramic windows, so suffers from the same internal heat build-up we encounter in the capital. This is bearable during the winter, with the owners rarely having to use their heating. But during spring and summer, the temperatures become excessive. The owners wanted air conditioning to cool and dehumidify the air and maintain a comfortable environment during the spring and summer. However, due to restrictions, they cannot have any air conditioning fitted that uses an outside condenser, even if they have a terrace or balcony. The only solution available was our energy-efficient DC inverter water-cooled internal condenser air conditioning system that allows everything to be retained within the apartments. For both installations, completed in a day, an internal condenser was installed in each apartment's boiler/utility room. These served energy efficient, quiet, DC inverter high wall units to cool and dehumidify the open plan kitchen/living rooms. Our technical team connected and hid the refrigerant pipework between the condensers and the room units. In one apartment, the room unit was on an adjoining wall; in the other, the pipework was fed through the ceiling void. There was no disruption to the existing decor within either apartment.
