A CASE STUDY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF AN INTERNAL DC INVERTER WATER COOLED CONDENSER WITHIN A MODERN APARTMENT DEVELOPMENT CLOSE TO THE RIVER THAMES
Like many new apartment buildings, this newly renovated property is extremely well insulated and gets hot. Also being only 30 seconds from Tower Bridge, close to the River Thames and a hop skip and a jump from London Bridge station, opening the windows is not practical.
The owner was not allowed to fit a traditional external condenser box. Nor were they allowed to drill any holes in the external walls of the building.
The most appropriate solution available was our internal condenser air conditioning system. This type of air conditioning allows everything to be retained within the apartment.
For this installation, a water-cooled internal condenser was installed within the kitchen units and linked to a quiet and energy efficient DC inverter high wall unit in the living room area.
Our engineers were able to connect the refrigerant pipework between the condenser and the room unit within a false wall, with minimal disruption to the existing decor.
No planning permission was required to fit our air conditioning systems in this apartment.
For this project we installed:
1 x 3.5kw (12,000btu) DC Inverter water cooled condenser
1 x 3.5kw (12,000btu) DC Inverter cooling high wall unit
