Installation of Air Conditioning in an Islington Flat

At Cool You, we recently completed a successful air conditioning installation in a charming flat in the heart of Islington. This project not only enhanced the residents’ comfort but also added to our impressive portfolio of work in the area. This portfolio features numerous modern flats, including those at Highbury Gardens and Highbury Stadium Square.

Given the unique challenges of this project, we faced specific planning restrictions. These restrictions prohibited the use of external condenser boxes and drilling into the outside walls of the property. In response, we leveraged our innovative fully internal water-cooled air conditioning system. This state-of-the-art solution elegantly navigates typical planning hurdles. It also offers a multitude of advantages, including significantly reduced noise levels. Furthermore, it enhances energy efficiency and provides a streamlined aesthetic since all components are enclosed within the apartment.

Air Conditioning in an Islington Flat – What Did We Use?

In this particular installation, we strategically placed the water-cooled condensers in the utility cupboards of each flat. This ensures a sleek, uniform appearance across all units and maximises the use of available space. We installed three discreet yet powerful high-wall air conditioning units to improve comfort and cooling efficiency further. We placed one in each bedroom and another in the living room. This thoughtful layout exemplifies our system’s adaptability. It enriches residents’ overall living experience by providing targeted cooling where it matters most.

Our water-cooled air conditioning system operates seamlessly without the need for planning permission. It showcases its innovative design and prioritises functionality, as well as compliance with local regulations. Throughout the project, our dedicated property manager played an instrumental role. They facilitated smooth communication among all parties and ensured that necessary approvals were obtained in accordance with local legislative requirements.
