Retro-fitting State of the Art Fully Internal Air Con Within The Creekside Apartment Development In Greenwich, London

Cool You UK have installed air conditioning within apartments in all four complexes – Adagio, The Atrium, Cavatina and Vertex Tower within the Greenwich Creekside development in London.

As with many modern apartments, a large area of glass generates heat. The owners were not allowed to fit a traditional external condenser box, nor were they allowed to drill any holes in the external walls of the building.

To air condition these apartments, the best solution was to install our revolutionary water-cooled internal condenser air conditioning systems that allow everything to be retained within these apartments.

The condensers were installed in the hall utility cupboards and connected to the services. A quiet high wall unit was fitted in each apartment’s kitchen/living area. In all cases, the utility cupboards are situated adjacent to the rooms being air-conditioned, so we were able to run the pipework through the ceiling voids. One of our clients asked us to make provision with the pipework for the installation of a second unit at a later date – this meant that there would be minimal work required to fit this unit.

No planning permission was required to fit our air conditioning systems into these apartments.
