A CASE STUDY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF OUR COMPLETELY INTERNAL SYSTEMS TO AIR CONDITION THE LIVING AREA OF THIS MODERN CONVERTED APARTMENT IN CLAPHAM

The Grade 2 listed former Granada Cinema had been on English Heritage’s “Buildings at-risk Register” for several years before the unoccupied building was revived into the £30 million Lumiere Apartments. However, no air conditioning was specified in the conversions apart from the Penthouses and being listed, a conventional system with an outside condenser(s) is not permitted.

The apartment owner researched on Google and made contact. Following a phone discussion with Savva, our Technical Director, a meeting and site survey took place with the client present.

The south-facing Living Room was the key area, and this has now been air-conditioned, completely internally. Our client was so delighted, that she recommended us to a neighbour who has since commissioned Cool You to install for them also.

Planned out by Cool You’s Managing Director, Savva, our specialist install team completed the retro-fit install in one day.

• One 3.5kw (12,000btu) Mono DC Inverter Water Cooled  Condenser Serving
• Open Plan Area: 3.5kw (12,000btu) COOLING only High Wall Room Unit
