Woods House, Grosvenor Waterside – A Water Cooled Air Conditioning Installation Case Study
Cool You UK have recently installed air conditioning within an apartment at Woods House, Grosvenor Waterside, next to the River Thames on the North side of Chelsea Bridge and overlooking a noisy railway line.
As with many brand new contemporary apartment buildings, they can get very warm ”summertime is not easy if you live in Woods House in south west London. When the sun rises, so does the temperature in the building”, and in this case (as with most similar buildings) the owner could not fit a traditional external condenser box, nor was he allowed to drill any holes in the external walls of the building. The only solution available was our revolutionary water-cooled air conditioning system that allows everything to be retained within the apartment.
Our engineering team installed the water condensers in the apartments’ hall utility cupboard (see picture left) with the pipe work going through the wall to a 3.8f kW (13000btu) quite high wall unit in the master bedroom, and the same specification high wall unit in the living room/kitchen area. Our joiners neatly boxed in the pipework to this unit.
No planning permission was required to fit our water-cooled air conditioning system.
For this project, we installed:
2 x Water Condenser Units
2 x 3.8f kW (13000btu) water-cooled high wall split systems
