Islington Air Conditioning Installation Case Study

Cool You UK have recently installed air conditioning within several apartments 
at Highbury Gardens, a mix of one, two and three-bedroom flats in Islington, London.

Because of planning restrictions, external condenser boxes were not allowed, nor could any holes be drilled in outside walls. The solution was our revolutionary fully internal water-cooled air conditioning system that allows everything to be retained within the apartment.

The water-cooled condensers were installed in the apartments’ hall utility cupboards and plumbed into the water system (this was the same for all projects). Three quiet high wall units were fitted, one in each bedroom and one in the living room. In this case, we could not run pipework in the ceiling void, so all pipework was neatly boxed in and decorated to blend in with the apartment’s colour scheme.

No planning permission was required to fit our water-cooled air conditioning system, although the property manager was consulted at all stages for approval.
