A Case Study For A Water Cooled Internal Condenser Installation
Cool You UK have completed the installation of a ducted water cooled air conditioning installation within the penthouse apartment this grade-II listed building situated in one of South Kensington’s’ most prestigious garden squares.
Cool You UK, worked with the owner of this apartment to find a solution to air condition two bedrooms in this handsome grade-II listed building.
It’s listed status prevented the use of a standard air conditioning system with an external condenser box.
To overcome this, we specified our water cooled internal condenser split air conditioning system using three ducted spigots, two into the master bedroom and one into a smaller second bedroom.
This was a very detailed project and part of a renovation of the apartment. Working with the client’s contractors, our installation team were able to site the water cooled internal condenser and the ducted unit in the loft space, which allowed easy access to both rooms.
Our team planned the installation in detail, to cause minimum disruption for our client. The ducted air conditioning system was fully installed within two working days.
This is one of a growing number of projects that Cool You UK have undertaken in listed buildings and properties that are in conservation areas, where more conventional air conditioning systems were impossible to install due to planning restrictions.
For this project we installed
1 x 3.85kw internal water condensing unit,
1 x 3.85kw Ducted Conditioning Unit (in the loft) with 3 cooling spigots
